The Secular Beginning: 'Big Bang'

The big bang survived its contest with the now-defunct 'Steady-State-Theory,' which was no theory at all —just a cope-out, (It said everything always existed--there was no beginning.) Beginning with an explosion is necessary for evolution, despite the fact that explosions always cause disorder. If physics demands a finite beginning and if everything is evolving to a higher order then at the beginning everything had to be infinitely insignificant. It is proposed that before the big bang, all space, all matter, all time, all energy, all intelligence, occupied none of these and was just a pinprick of existence containing all of them. Then this nothing exploded and has been expanding, organizing and improving ever since. The Big Bang is no explanation for anything • It raises greater questions than it answers. Explanations are supposed to bring us understanding. • Where did this even more amazing pinprick come from? This is more problematic than, Where did our cosmos comes from? The big bang is supposed to answer this. The Evidence Contradicts a Big Bang • Why, when we "look back near the beginning of time" (Hubble Deep-Space project) do we not see more chaos as evidence of an explosion? Out at "billions of light-years in space" the universe is just as organized as is near-space. Big Bang Offers Another God! The notion that the God of the Bible could somehow have used the Big Bang to begin creation is a theological subversion. God cannot act inconsistently with His nature. Would God meticulously pre-design the universe, the earth, down to the intricate parts of our bodies, as He said He did, and then set off an explosion hoping it would actualize His ALL-GOOD design? God is Sovereign and intimately involved and in control of our existence and environment —now and in the past. He ruled every pre-meditated, highly organized, ordered step in His special work of creation as He has all of His-story. There was no chaos at any step. He describes each step with:"and God saw all that He had made and it was very good." The "Big Bang" is a cunningly crafted fable, that obliterates the sovereignty, omnipotence and orderliness of the true Creator with one blast.
